Delivery and Communications Group

Information about the work of the Delivery and Communications Group to take forward the NOMS Wales Reducing Re-offending Strategy, Joining Together in Wales.

Aim of the group

To support the Strategy Board with the co-ordination, monitoring and communication of the action plans to deliver the aims of the Reducing Re-offending Strategy Joining Together in Wales.

Role

The Delivery and Gommunications Group will ensure that:

  • information is co-ordinated and shared across pathway groups and other action planning areas
  • a standardised bi-monthly reporting structure is in place
  • an action plan template and checklist is agreed
  • the implementation of the Strategy’s communication plan and the timeliness and quality of information being issued both internally and externally and to the website
  • the development of relevant user groups, reference groups or quality assurance groups are co-ordinated and supported

Frequency of meetings

The Group will meet on a bi-monthly basis.

Membership

The Group will be chaired by Rob Heaton-Jones, Policy Advisor, NOMS Wales.

Members will be NOMS Wales pathway leads and project group chairs.

Role of members

All members will be responsible for cascading information to and from their relevant groups and where appropriately within their organisations.
