NOMS regions

Working in partnership

We are working together with a wide range of regional, sub-regional and local stakeholders to reduce re-offending and protect the public in the South West.

The Alliances

We want to work with partners in the community in Alliances, to ensure we obtain the best services for offender management.

Within the South West we're currently developing the following Alliance:

South West Faith, Voluntary and Community Sector Alliance

Working with CLINKS (new window) - a body that supports and develops the work of voluntary organisations within the Criminal Justice system in England and Wales - we have made links and held regular meetings with local BME, faith and voluntary and community sector organisations.

Probation areas working with community based organisations

The five probation areas in the South West region created a joint approach in order to develop consistency in the way they intend to work with community based organisations, whether they be from the voluntary or community or the private sector.
