Detail of how the South East Reducing Re-offending Strategy is being delivered.
The South East Reducing Re-offending Strategy (new window) brings together a wide range of partners in the South East to develop a pan-regional and cross-sectoral approach to reducing re-offending.
The strategy’s vision is: To reduce re-offending in the South East, helping to create safer, stronger and more inclusive communities.
The purpose of developing a strategy to support this vision is to:

provide leadership of work to reduce re-offending

develop strategic partnership working and facilitate local partnerships

improve communications and information sharing

develop regional Reducing Re-offending Alliances

link our work in this field with other relevant strategies and policies.
To enable the areas of partnership working set out strategy to be developed, a new set of structures have been established to bring together the wide range of organisations that play a part in reducing re-offending.
