Voluntary Sector Newsletter - Issue 8, Summer 2007
The newsletter is a publication compiled and edited by the NOMS Voluntary Sector Unit. It comprises a collection of articles provided by NOMS staff as well as contributions from members of voluntary and community organisations, prisons and probation.
The aim of the document is to give an indication of current affairs and includes both subjective and objective material regarding the voluntary sector, including organisations' relationships with the Prison and Probation services.
This latest edition celebrates recent awards to various organisations recognising the work they are doing with offenders, gives updates on the work being done in NOMS around commissioning and the Alliances and has contributions from various organisations about projects they are running.
