ViSOR Equality Impact Assessment
This document is the Equality Impact Assessment for the ViSOR system. ViSOR is a secure system that has been developed to support Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA). ViSOR is also used for the prevention and investigation of crime. It can be accessed by the Police, Probation and Prison services, enabling the sharing of risk assessment and risk management information on individual violent and sex offenders in a timely way.
The main purpose of the project is to: -
• develop secure solutions to enable access to ViSOR from Probation and Prisons services
• develop Business Processes for the operation of the ViSOR system in Probation and Prison Services
• implement the ViSOR system into Probation and Prison Services
