Offender management legislation
15.11.06
The Government has announced today that proposals are to be put forward to change the way offenders are managed, in the coming parliamentary session.
In the Queen’s Speech, which set out the Government’s plans, it was stated that: “Legislation will be introduced to improve the way that offenders are managed and supervised.”
The announcement follows the Home Secretary’s speech on the future of offender management made at Wormwood Scrubs prison last week.
